"The property itself is impressive. Communication with the owner/property manager is fantastic, and I can't praise them enough. The only downside is that the roads to the property are very steep and narrow, but manageable."

"Overall the house was very lovely and close to Cruz Bay! We loved the beds and the view of the home. When we tried to find the house via Google maps, it was not the right spot. You need to ask your taxi driver to take you to Samuel Cottages. The check-in process was a bit difficult, but we had a helpful tax driver who didn’t leave until we got into the property. Thank you!"

"The place is small and there are a lot of stairs! But the views are stunning and there is everything you need for cooking basic meals, outdoor sunbathing, open air showers, and a very complete guide for things to do and places to go on the Coral Bay end of the island. The bedroom is a bit awkward with the bed up several uneven steps, but it's quite comfortable. Overall a great stay!"

"Tradewinds Cottage has everything you need for a St John vacation. Well equipped kitchen plus coolers and beach chairs for hitting some of the best beaches in the world. A deck with a fabulous view high above the ocean. Comfortable furniture inside and out. Neat and very clean. You may be on the “quiet” side of St John but there many bars and restaurants for those days when you want to eat out. The island is small so no attractions are very far away. "We had a great stay at Bon Bini. Bed was comfortable, AC kept us cool, plenty of cooking stuff in the kitchen, and the hot tub was great for evening star watching. We’d happily book here again! "

Monika and Jorge were excellent hosts, right there to greet us, very attentive to our needs. The villa had everything we needed from a very functional kitchen, unbelievably beautiful views, beach toys, to a great bookshelf! We look forward to coming back!"

"Very clean and spacious, close walk to restaurants and supermarket if you're comfortable on a steep hill dodging some traffic. Make sure you rent a Jeep, a sedan won't make it into the parking spot."

"This was our third trip to St John, so we obviously love the island. And if you could create the absolutely perfect place for a couple to stay, Skyloft is that place. Killer view, fifteen minutes from all our favorite east side beaches and snorkeling spots and very comfortable. Skyloft is well-appointed and maximizes outdoor living space in a place where that’s exactly what we want to do! It’s just a gorgeous place. Reviews suffer from grade inflation. If it were allowed, this place is 6 stars!"

"We couldn't have had a more amazing stay at this beautiful little bungalow. The hosts provided everything we needed for many amazing adventures! We loved our privacy and being away from the crowded resort/cruise ship scene. The location was also perfect, being close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We can't wait to return! "
