The pool was very welcome given the 35 degree heat in mid July and we spent many an hour just in and out the pool! The main draw for this rental is the stunning location. Firstly within an hour car drive to Venice, Verona and Garda - all of which are very accessible by car and good parking to explore. "This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. This is an optional add-on. "

"Having two cars this was perfect for our family. It was 20-30 minutes to drive to Bardolino, Garda etc and about 45 minutes to drive to the Monte Baldo lookout. There is a great restaurant with a view right around the corner, you could walk if you wanted. It was very hot while we were there so we opted to drive most places. The games etc provided were nice for the down time between our adventures and the other amenities would have been perfect had we stayed longer. Even without AC the house...

"Villa was centrally located in the Veneto region, which was ideal for visiting our relatives. The property manager was very responsive and friendly - even helped us set up a large catered family gathering on the premises. The only thing we didn't realize is that it is not a stand alone villa - the property manager and her family live on the premises. Although they were quiet and respectful, we could sometimes hear their daily activities."

"The first impression is a total " wow".🙂 This property is very lovely and is on a gorgeous palladio estate. It is very comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen is well outfitted with everything one needs to cook. Bedrooms are comfortable with very nice linens. Ludovico is charming and available to help his guests have a wonderful relaxing holiday. Living room is comfy and cozy. The house is larger than it appears. We had a beautiful holiday there"

"The home is a beautiful, spacious, fully working property with friendly and interesting hosts who were very helpful with anything we needed. The location is secluded on a hill for beautiful views of the city, so you probably do need a car, but it is located only minutes from stores and sites to see. The home is so pretty that you should talk to your kids about being careful with all the artwork and decorations. Highly recommended to other guests, and thank you for having us!"
