"The hotel is situated perfectly for walking into the small town of Alpbach or for setting off on one of the many possible mountain hikes in the area. Facilities: stainless steel lined indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool with bar service. Plenty of towels available. We paid the half-board rate to get breakfast and dinner included. "Truly amazing place - to stay in a castle with parts of it over 9 centuries old. Could really use a simple sign on property on where the entrance to the hotel is - we had to wonder around a lot (restaurant was closed). Could also use more staff - we waited for over 15 minutes to be let in when we finally found the entrance and figured out where to park. Not provided much information on room amenities and spa neither. Would have been nice if restaurant were open more hours since the open patio...
