"Absolutely amazing place to stay. Beautiful property, amazing location and easy to find. Host was very accommodating and the room was spot on. Didn’t eat there but smelt good. Highly recommended, especially for the price, could pay twice that and be happy."

We ended up outside the hotel with no one there to receive us. After a confusing phone call we could use a room with a kitchen that was open instead, but he wanted 50 euros more for it. "We enjoyed our stay immensely! The apartment was extremely clean, modern, and well equipped. We felt very much at home and could easily relax and unwind. Sophie and Denis were so welcoming and helpful with numerous ideas of places to go. The sole problem was that a week was simply not enough time to do all that we wanted in this beautiful region. We look forward to our return next year!"

"This house is incredible. I've never stayed in a place as beautifully crafted and in such a beautiful rural setting. We cooked 4 nights as well and found the kitchen and outdoor grill to be well stocked. Our group was a family of 4 - kids were 18 and 14 years old. During our 5 nights stay we visited the nearby French Basque towns (including Espelette), we day-tripped to San Sebastian, went to Bayonne, Saint Jean de Luz, and Hendaye. Really fun week!"

"We stayed here because of the 4/ 5 star rating reviews , for us it did not stand up to portrayed as that. The veranda is very nice , but the bedrooms and bathroom has no natural light. Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away. The goats and chicken are lovely"
