"I booked the wrong week like a moron. Pauline was still able to accommodate even though I didn’t notice until about noon the day we arrived. It’s a very well done barn conversion. It was great having an enclosed yard for the dog. You can’t beat the price and we even got to feed the alpacas."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber cottage. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a home-from-home break. Would be even better in the summer when you can use the outdoor space and bbq. The resort is really lovely too - very clean and a very short stroll down to the beach. "We had an amazing week at Misty Cottage over the Christmas week. The cottage was fully equipped and gave 3 generations the space that was needed. The bedroom off the kitchen was perfect for nanny who often wakes early and needs a cuppa and the double and twin rooms on the top floor felt like a little private flat. "The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."
