"Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. "The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood has cafes and stores, including a supermarket a few paces from the front door. Clean towels every three days, no coffee/kettle in the room, but otherwise perfectly acceptable."

"We stayed here for two nights with our young boys, aged 3 and 8. Loved the location. Lots of restaurants nearby. The apartment was super clean and spacious. Had all the amenities. Our key stopped working so had to wait for someone from the main hotel to let us in, which took them 15 mins but that was the only frustrating part. I would definitely stay here again. "

" Excellent hotel (English spoken). We opted for a deluxe double room with lake and golf course view. It had a lovely sunny balcony with chairs and table. The room itself was large and airy with desk, chairs, large settee and tea and coffee making facilities, large spacious bathroom with bath robes and shoes. "This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning."

"Daniel was a wonderful host and chef. The personal attention was a treat, as were the meals. The core of the place is Medieval (maybe 12th-14th century) yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. We loved our stay!"

"The only comment I would make is that the public areas have no soft furnishings and the sound travels. Soft close doors would help as you can hear doors on several levels closing. They sound like they are being slammed closed. "
