"We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. "A bright spacious apartment with a great view. Well equipped with everything you will need. A five minute walk, to possibly the largest supermarket on the island. The bus stop is opposite the supermarket. Two coves with beaches, are a fifteen minute walk. The owner is friendly and helpful! A handy hint.... Try Marinos Restaurant. Bianco Hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, with a very satisfying breakfast that comes with the room. "I was unable to get taxi service to respond. If I did not know someone in the area I would have been stuck at the hotel. It is not within walking distance to stores or restaurants. It took several hours to get a response from staff and I was never able to access laundry. It was very relaxing, quiet and clean. The property was beautiful. "

The bar and reception staff are friendly cheerful and always ready to give helpful advice. "Not pleasant at all. Had to wait for 2 hours after I reached by 2pm as the room was not cleaned. The behavior was not professional at all. Got a room but it was outside the main hotel unit, where entry was next to the hotel. To access restroom, need to open bedroom and go outside in open area. Privacy is less."
