"This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. "This is a truly magical place. Tucked between tropical jungle and a stunning beach is a little oasis called Klong Jark Bungalows. There my husband and I became members of a family and our departure ended with tears and hugs. "This is an older property, that was a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. I really liked being up in a higher hillside setting, for the views. The top deck pool was a great place to hang out, and scan the horizon. There are plenty of additional restaurants along the beach. The property is on a hillside, which means climbing a lot of stairs. This was fine for me, as I am in good shape. "

"Best stay of our trip. The resort is the best on the island as it is nice with a big white sandy Beach but also closest to the good snorkeling. The food of the restaurant was fantastic and we felt safe leaving money and Kindles and phones in our room and on the beach in the bungalows. There is not a lot of people on the island and it was really relaxing! Highly recommend it! I think the only drawback that I can think of is maybe not allowing motorbikes on the resort until 8:30 or 9:00 a.m....

"The Reef resort was lovely as were the staff who were extremely friendly and attentive. They pride themselves on their scuba diving and beautiful reef which can be accessed using the paddle boards or kayaks which are free to use. This island is very small and underdeveloped which was our main reason for visiting, and while the Reef resort was amazing an adult only option would have been a better choice for us. If you are a family travelling with children you will not be disappointed "

"We stayed 6 days in 1 of the newer beachfront units. Great view of the beach/ocean. King bed, large bathroom, A/C and a small fridge. Simple but great! No safe, but if you leave your room locked you dont need one. Cleaning staff will leave toilet paper, 2 bottles of water daily on the deck table outside. Towels too if you request them. "We booked our stay 3 months ahead. When we turned up, the owner had no idea about our booking as they apparently "do not use Wotif" (we obviously booked through Wotif) and we're not due to open for the season until the next day. We then found the room that we were offered to be full of mould and what looked to be a blood stain on the pillow. Apparently during the off-season the bungalow rooves had leaked, causing extensive mould. They were then not able to offer us another room that didn't have...
