"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

"ABOMINABLE. I have attempted to communicate with you on this platform AND Facebook. The owner told us the property was unavailable because it was rented out on long lease. We had to find alternative accommodation. The owner claims to have tried to arrange our refund, to no avail. We have also tried to request a refund, also to no avail.You can read our story on your Facebook page and in Facebook Messenger. Your system needs to be less automated because quite frankly, it sucks. So, I am again...
