"The hotel is in a great location, central to many restaurants in Clarke Quay and a short walk to Chinatown. The MRT train is underneath the Clarke Quay Central shopping centre across the road which makes it super convenient to get around Singapore. It's worth paying the extra for breakfast everyday, there is a lot of variety and good quality food to eat. My only criticisms are: 1. Don't advertise and charge a higher rate for a room with a balcony knowing full well Singapore Government law states...

"I really enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, the provided amenities in the room were excellent quality, and the vibe/decor was fun and creative. The kitchen facilities were amazing, very clean and organized. Breakfast was very good! As a single woman traveler I felt safe. The location was great, too."

"Old hotel but overall acceptable. Smart tv doesn’t work. Heated water has issues even after the maintenance team tried to fix but didn’t work. "

"I recently stayed at Alma House, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, Alma House provided outstanding hospitality, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable...
