"Our room was well designed and comfortable, four poster bed with a great private terrace and lovely views of the old town. The hotel itself is well located and appointed with a good bar and lovely breakfast room. Just an observation and not a criticism, the light fittings are positioned to low and there are some repairs and new furnishings required to bring things to the highest standard. "

"This property is amazing. Every day we discovered new and interesting things just strolling around the grounds. It was comfortable and quiet and felt perfectly safe and secure. Even the neighbor donkeys only said hello the first night. We did manage to lock ourselves out within the first hour we were on the property but the host was wonderful and came right back out to fix us. :) Would definitely stay here again and it made a great central location for us to explore the surrounding villages and countryside. "

" My stay at this property was excellent! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the beautiful Sierra mountains. We used this charming spot as a stopover on our journey from Ronda to Seville, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The small village setting added a magical touch, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The local food was fantastic, showcasing authentic flavors that were a joy to experience. I would definitely look forward to visiting this place again in the future to explore more of its hidden gems. "The house is amazing; huge, clean, well-equiped and the view is speechless. The owner is available to answer any questions as well as Esther who is in the village to welcome you and answer any other questions you may have. If you are looking for a quiet village, this is perfect. We did a few trails which all started iin the village. You can also find a few grocery stores. Since it was early in January, not all restaurants were open. We arrived by train and took a taxi from the train station located in El Colmera (no train station in Gaucin)). The only taxi drive, Javier, is fantastic!! We had a great time!!"

"Arcos is a peculiar hotel located atop a cliff on the highest part of town. Do not try driving on the towns narrow streets. Call the hitel and get directons to the remote parking area. Beautiful town and many bars and restaurants to choose. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Tambor del Llano! The inn, grounds, and farm are lovely and peaceful. We spent 2 nights and we wish we had booked at least 3 nights. We rode their wonderful horses, ate delicious meals, and truly enjoyed just spending time at the inn and and on the grounds. We could explore the fun and busy nearby white villages, but we were always so happy to return to our "home" at Tambor. "

"Beautiful property. Very friendly staff. Good size room and excellent shower facilities. In a perfect location to visit the old city center. We had a late bus and the owner let us stay for a while in the lobby to read. Also had a very nice breakfast included. Would recommend. "
