"Its a typical asturian stone house. The main atraction for us was the location , a hamlet with no more than 10 houses surrounded by mountains all overooked by the Pico Peñamallera . The house is spotless clean with a great fireplace and all the amenities you need."

"Hemos estado muy agusto, el apartamento esta muy bien, aunque para 5 personas un poquito pequeño, sobre todo el sofa. Pero en general esta muy bien cuidado. Por poner un pero es el olor a madera vieja y humeda que hay. Esta en un pueblo muy tranquilo y pintoresco pero quizas un poco alejado si piensas hacer excursiones por cantabria. Hay una carretera de curvas bastante larga antes de llegar. Aun que las vistas son espectaculares y tener a los niños en la calle con las vacas sin peligro es un...

"The cottage was easy to find in a quiet village between the coast and the Picos de Europa. It's well laid out and been thoughtfully modernised. We ate out in the evenings but I think cooking a big meal there would be a challenge in the small kitchen area. The bed was large, comfortable and quiet and the en suite was small but perfectly functional. Jose the owner was very friendly and helpful. The local area is spectacular, the snow covered Picos making a superb backdrop to the golden sandy...

"The house was full of character with a big, beautiful garden that Sol and Luis are very proud of. Sol was very helpful and gave us recommendations for restaurants and where to watch the Euro 2024 final in Santander. Luis and Sol live nearby but were very discreet. them often."

"We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."

"Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. El lugar es perfecto, pegado a San Vicente de la barquera pero en plena naturaleza. El inmenso jardín es ideal para desconectar, relajarse o hacer una barbacoa. Nosotros fuimos con niños y fue perfecto para que jugasen. La casita es preciosa. Con unas habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas y además está muy limpia. Estuvimos muy cómodos. La dueña de la casa y las personas que nos recibieron muy amables. Un sitio muy recomendable."
