"The cottage was easy to find in a quiet village between the coast and the Picos de Europa. It's well laid out and been thoughtfully modernised. We ate out in the evenings but I think cooking a big meal there would be a challenge in the small kitchen area. "A mouldy smell is the first impression (couch especially). Lack of adequate kitchen equipment, (not one sharp knife).Washing machine door faulty. No way to dry clothes if raining. Noise from adjoining rental, walls obviously too thin. Accomodation needs total refurbishment. Covered outside areas totally useless as rain ingress was extensive. "

"A very relaxing week in a lovely, peaceful location with beaches very nearby and all amenities within a 10 minute walk. The property was clean, welcoming and the views were beautiful. The pool and tennis court were great for our teenage boys and we could easily have spent every day just at the villa. Beaches nearby were great for swimming and boarding. "We enjoyed the property and loved its location. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! But it was in a great location and was perfectly adequate and enjoyable for a week’s stay."

"Its a typical asturian stone house. The main atraction for us was the location , a hamlet with no more than 10 houses surrounded by mountains all overooked by the Pico Peñamallera . The house is spotless clean with a great fireplace and all the amenities you need."

"We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."
