"Great location and good value for money with a more than adequate breakfast"

"The room was good as was the bathroom. But the heated pool wasn't functioning and it took the better part of an hour to get the sauna working. Breakfast was good. A bit more service and tea/coffee facilities in the room would lift the experience. "

"No issues checking in after midnight or getting a taxi to the airport early in the morning. Rooms are similar to what you might get at an airport hotel in the states except that the furniture is higher quality and there's a coffee pod machine. Simple continental breakfast provided, roads around the property can be noisy as locals regularly use their horns, fairly steep hill between the hotel and town centre. Room included mini-fridge and water bottles. Felt more coffee pods could have been provided on a daily basis and the pod machines could have been better (need to tilt the cups to get them under the nozzel). Generally quiet but there can be noise from other guests. Main issues with the room were the lower floors don't have the city / coastal views advertised and they're very dark in the evenings (insufficient lighting). Good wifi, very helpful front desk staff."

"The Lodge/B&B is very well run by a semi-retired couple. Our room was small but there are 2 comfortable common spaces for guests.Breakfast was the best I have had in Chile as it includes homemade breads and jams and fresh juice. The yard has many apple trees, and backs onto a small beautiful river. There is a sauna, hammocks and lounge chairs so you can relax outside. The Lodge is only a couple of kilometers from the hot springs 'Termas Del Sol' which is very impressive. A few kilometers further down the same road is Llenquinau park with hiking and horseback riding trails. "

"Barraco Lodge is amazing! The views of lake/river/mountains are majestic - during my 5-day stay, I never tired of looking at the changing landscape. The food was excellent. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and interesting. It's hard to describe how unique and gorgeous this place is. I am so grateful to have had the privilege of staying here. Don't miss it!"

"Some aspects of the hotel are in disrepair (ie. door handles, one of the numbers for my room number was missing). The only real complaint I had, which I shared at reception and they received the feedback well, was that I placed the do not disturb sign on my door before leaving for an activity during the day; I had all my belongings spread over the room and I did not have the energy or time to put them away. While I was gone, the cleaning staff entered the room to clean. Nothing was missing, but it did feel like a boundary was not respected. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many options. And the staff I interacted with was quite friendly. I had a rental car and their private parking lot was safe. "
