"I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. "Great location, I wouldn't say a car is needed at all if mainly planning to enjoy Praia Da Rocha. It's so close to the beach, a short walk down the steps, has a great Italian restaurant below it, and more restaurants, cafe's and the bar 'strip' further up. Really good space, could maybe do with a rug or two for cosy'ness and some tea bags :-) but suited us really well."

The blue bus line outside goes at 40 mins past the hour to town and in the other direction the yellow bus goes to Luz. To get to Sagres, go to the bus stop opposite Intermarche.
