"We had a great time at the Forest Chalet and are so grateful to have had our reservation accepted on such short notice. The house is immaculate, comfortable beds, and a super fun game room. We really loved our stay and would definitely go back again. The only slight issue was that it's listed as a five bedroom, though the Murphy bed upstairs is in a loft setting. "This property was great. We had four adults and two dogs. Location was perfect, between Jim Thorpe and Lake Harmony. Very dog friendly, and the fenced in yard was a huge plus. "I booked this place for a weekend with short notice, and the host was super welcoming. The check-in / check-out process was easier than anticipated, and the host was very fast in responsiveness to any questions/concerns we had. The house was cleaned soon before we checked in (we could smell the scent of cleaning products when we walked through the door). There are a lot of huge windows all over the house however, some which don’t have blinds or curtains like in the bathrooms, so take note of...

"This was my first time staying at this property and let me just say it did not disappoint!! The house was so spacious, nice size bedrooms, and two of them had their own private balconies which we loved. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the game room on the first level was very entertaining! I have rented off Linda before at a different property and she is still a wonderful host. Very prompt with any questions or concerns. "The house was perfect! The online description was very thorough. Cannot comment on location. Due to the weather conditions (freezing rain) we did not leave the house. Played many games had lots of conversations cooked lots of food and gave us plenty of space and time to reconnect. Not sure if we would return to the Poconos again but if we do we would definitely book this home again!"

"Location was fantastic to Jim Thorpe and Penn's Peak! Home was super cute! Only two issues, if we were to be picky. We would recommend a more natural continuous essential air freshener. Current one was too strong. The chalet is in the woods so maybe a fresh balsam. And the outside air temperature hit negative numbers. Please allow the individual wall thermostats to be used. The hallway control just wasn't enough for the bedrooms. Very cold nights in NEPA. Super comfy beds! Great towels! 5/5...
