All the staff were Mauritian and the difference is so noticeable that when you go to other non-Beachcomber hotels where much of the staff is seasonably imported and the standards are so poor. "Very roomy and adequate kitchen. The bedrooms were air conditioned, a must. It was lovely to have a garden and small pool. We had a housekeeper who came in to tidy absolute luxury. The garden opened onto a beach the only problem for me was as I love to swim and snorkel one the lagoon was very shallow and all the fish anyway are taken by fisherman.shopping was very good nearby but restaurants were few and far between. In all we had six glorious weeks and could have stayed longer."
