"It's a great place, but maps took us around the long way to the road closure- make sure you follow the directions given to you by owner BEFORE you get there. No reception and dark and you miss the landmarks. Deck was great but the furniture was wet. Very cold inside when we got in. Maybe ask for heat to be on when you come in late. "

"We spent three months in Kirstin‘s apartment and really had a great time. The kitchen is outstanding, and we enjoyed the short walk to downtown Corvallis and the riverfront. Communication with Kirstin was easy, and we really appreciated the generous basket of local wine, coffee, vegetables and fruit she welcomed us with."

"This property is super cute and has everything you need for a short stay. We appreciated having the basic spices available in the cupboard and quality cookware/dinnerware. The k cups were a plus also. The bathroom and kitchen were of substantial size and the bed was very comfortable. The only part we didn’t like was the yard area as you felt like you were right in the owners back yard so it was uncomfortable to be out there. It was set up very nicely, though, with a very cool water feature....

"Our family stayed here for our daughter's wedding in early October. It is a beautifully built home right next to the Santiam river. It has a well appointed kitchen & great room for entertaining. Lot's of room on the ground floor and outside. Our disappointment was all the beauty chairs, shampoo bowls, waxing table etc. in the bedroom and bathroom. And not enough places to hang clothing. However, owner was very responsive when we let her know our needs. "

"We came down to visit our daughter and decided to stay in Albany. One side of the street is the historic district the other side is a different part. We loved the inside of the house. All newer appliances and everything you would need and is 5 star all the way. Good size back yard for our dog. The neighborhood is ok during the day but sketchy at night. Hasty Freeze across the street and is always busy. "
