"At first, we booked the house for August, but storm Debby rolled in can caused the river to flood and the boat ramp to be closed. They were very understanding and worked with us to get a new date on the schedule. We liked how the boat ramp was literally just a couple hundred yards from the house, which made it very easy to get in and out. The house was very nice and the neighborhood was quiet. "Staying here was a lovely experience; the house was clean, and having such a beautiful backyard in a quiet neighborhood was great. Was also in a very convenient area, close to lots of amenities and close to UF. Would absolute recommend this gem of a place."

"Beautiful home, nice stay. We enjoyed it. If I had to say anything negative it be that I noticed some thick Cobb webs at the cathedral ceiling in living room, and the plants around the back yard deck and outdoor table need to be really cut. The seating outback was very rusted. Beautiful scenery though. "

"The apartment was very nice and comfortable for our stay. The owner clearly communicated and check in and out was super easy. We went to Mill Creek Farm the retirement home for horses which was so wonderful and I highly recommend. We also really enjoyed a brewery and winery near by (about 10 min drive) Daft Cow and Beaker. The coffee shop I'd recommend is Doxa (about a 5 min drive). Downtown Alachua itself was a little disappointing. It's unfortunate that there aren't more shops and restaurants...
