"This Riad is a beautiful traditional Moroccan home with guest rooms located off open air courtyards that are weatherproof but airy. The extended family who run the business is lovely and although their English is somewhat limited, they always figured out what I was asking and made every effort to assist. For instance, I was able to access the kitchen to use their kettle and get ice from the freezer. The location is connected to the Medina and adjacent to the large Mosque. The only sound that penetrates from outside the Riad is the call to prayer. If you are looking for a traditional Moroccan experience, I would highly recommend the Riad Dar Jabador. This is not a hotel. Upstairs rooms offer more privacy but there are no lifts. They seemed to have hot water for showers in the evening but not in the morning. "

"I would go back to Rabat just to go back to this hotel. Everyone there (managers, front desk ppl, valet) are incredibly kind and nice. The vibe of the hotel is so posh and luxury without being overstated. The bar is beautiful, and the hookah is delicious, and the rooms are immaculate. We truly loved our experience here! "

"I recently stayed at Marina Rabat Suites and Apartments, and the experience was far from what I expected. The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which was only available in one bedroom and the living room—not all three bedrooms as we assumed. It wasn’t cooling properly, and despite being told there was a leak, it never got fixed, leaving us uncomfortable day and night. The lack of a fan made it worse. Service was disappointing as well. No one was there to welcome us or provide check-in/check-out instructions; they simply handed over the keys. The cleaning staff seemed uninterested in maintaining the apartment, and when we requested an iron, it took two days to arrive. The apartment itself was spacious and well-decorated, but the location of the on-site restaurant was inconvenient—a 15-minute walk away. The menu lacked variety, felt like fast food rather than traditional Moroccan cuisine, and the service was painfully slow. Meals took over two hours, and items were often missing. Staff were unfriendly, adding to the disappointment. On the last day, despite ordering breakfast in advance, nothing was served, and we were told the restaurant was closed due to staff illness. Overall, the poor air conditioning, inadequate service, and disappointing dining experience overshadowed the apartment’s luxury, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed."
