"This hotel is located in a great area Fukuoka’s Tenjin area. We walked everywhere using the hotel as a base. The hotel room was small but manageable with our two big suitcases. It’s great that they have a washer/dryer combo. We did some laundry using Google Translate app."

"This is the second time I stayed in Basics Fukuoka. Staffs were very helpful and their english is good. She helps me to call taxi, ship luggage via Yamato Transport, and upgrade my room as promoted. The room itself is tidy, clean, and comfortable. I am satisfy about the dollar that I spent here. This hotel is a up-scale hotel, and I live in Chapter 3 this time. The washroom shower is amazing in Ch3. Very advance. "

"An affordable alternative to the Hyatt next door. But like the Hyatt, it's attached to the Canal City Mall, so it's got many food and shopping options in addition to the restaurant. Rooms are small, but affordable and the location is a very short taxi ride to Hakata Station. On a nice day, you can also walk to the station. There's also a bus stop in front of the hotel."

"Really nice hotel for the price. Laundry machines and gym was easily accessible. Gym was empty all three times I went. Nothing fancy, but good! Had dumbbells up to 10kg and smith machine up to 157.5kg. Free coffee in the lounge area 2-11pm. Would come here again."

"Very convenient!!! It is just next to the Bus Terminal. The room size is small but enough for a single person, with more than enough facilities within the hotel. Since it is just next to the Hakata Station, shopping and dining has no doubt."

"2 supermarket within 2 minutes walk I like Fuku Market they have fresh fish and other seafood delights plus local foods, Sunny Market is open 24 hours. Friendly staff only drawback is they give only one metal key, so only vanity light is operational without key in power box. Watanabe Dori subway less than 2 minutes on the right side of Hotel very convenient to traveling to Hakata or Tenjin."

"Everything 5 stars, booked Club Room came with free champagne and chocolates plus use of jacuzzi,sauna,steam room and ice pool included. Enjoyed eating breakfast in Cambord French restaurant on the 28 floor. Food and service was excellent you hardly see 8 utensils on the right side of your water glass. I ordered Western option came with seafood Benedict plus 9 other small items this was included 👻"

"Toyoko inn is always a great stay. Rooms are clean and comfy. Convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfast included. This hotel was very busy so breakfast was hard to find a seat. Bag lockers on the lobby were a great addition to store your bags before checkin (free). It’s always been a good stay at their many locations. Great value for money Highly recommend"

"Huge rooms with beautiful views and an onsite Japanese garden super close to the monorail station connecting to the JR Kokura train station and other destinations. The hotel was a bit dated but clean. The retro feel of the rooms may be a selling point to those who like that however. "

"Generally speaking, this hotel is very aged. For example, my Japanese toilet did not work. It flushed, but did not wash. The carpets are very worn, and entry is on the second floor, by stairs so carrying luggage is a chore. I did not have breakfast so no comment. Usual material supplied in the room was not (tooth brush, tooth paste, tea, etc.). Not recommended for seniors with mobility issues."
