"Pleasant staff. Wonderful place to stay."

"The property was very nice. The unit was a condo rental managed by Hosteeva. I had to communicate with Expedia and Hosteeva. A confusing grouping of emails and texts. I received messages from Hosteeva requesting additional info, and I was really sure who they were. I had to call and request my final info to gain access into the unit. I picked this unit over others in the same gated condo complex because of the king size bed and sleeper sofa (w/ picture of the sofa included). There was only a queen bed and no sofa. Only a second mattress under the bed. Also advertised was a washing machine and dryer. It was not what I expected. Only a small plastic tub with motor to wash and spin dry. No laundry detergent was provided. There was a pool and gym. But there was a 150 peso ($3) charge per person per day. Not expected. Overall, it is a nice unit in a quieter area of Bacolod. The TV and Netflix were nice. But, I give a poor rating because it is not as advertised. If they update the posting with real facts, I would amend my rating and call it a good value. "

"Our recent stay at Windy Willow's in Ajuy, Iloilo was excellent. The place is so quiet and relaxing, the stand-alone cottages are so spacious with big private verandah and all handmade from local timber. Even better was the food and service -- a great menu of native Filipino dishes and international cusine at good prices. Pizza is a must-try. If you like peaceful places that honour nature and the environment, this is a good place to stay. "

"We liked the place. Whole house, separate rooms. But the water was awful and you can smell it. We did not like the most was the access of the caretaker while the rental is occupied. And isn't the policy of vrbo that the owner/caretaker etc supposedly not in the permises..correct me if im mistaken??..?? The bed was terrible, I'm sorry Hard, uncomfortable. There's a sign by the kitchen by the stove saying clean after use but the stove was dirty to start with. Also, ants everywhere. Bug killer would be great , just a recommendation."
