"The suite I booked was supposed to be a Comfort Room with King bed and an included Microwave. We had neither. Future visitors should be aware that the plumbing is old and there are limits on what can be flushed down the toilet. Staff are great and our breakfast experience was good. One other item of note is the garden has a Saturday Artisan market, with set up starting early. If you plan to enjoy the grounds and pool, Sat is a bust. "

"Very charming, intimate unique place. Pretty quiet for Mexico. Each room is completely different. Gardenia room had fewest stairs to navigate. Bed was pretty firm and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and everyone in the hotel was chatting and sharing info. The drawbacks were the water pressure is extremely weak and the privacy curtains were not sufficient to prevent the courtyard spotlight from beaming into the room at night making it difficult to avoid. "It's a beautiful hotel with a swimming pool that is right outside of the rooms. That beats a patio in my opinion. The location is conveniently located, and the decoration is outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We really enjoyed staying here at this wonderful property. John and Gaby and their staff run a wonderful property that is just lovely. The weekend breakfasts were excellent! Such an easy place to stay in Ajijic with the super close proximity to the Centro area of the town, as well as super close to the lake and malecon. Many restaurants and shops abound in the area. We didn't rent a car and walked everywhere.We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone considering this fine...
