The service was great, with the reception staff going as far as providing me with a full lunchbox after I had told him during my checkout that I was going to take a bus to Essaouira later that day. "Very convenient location right near the main square. Downside was i could hear the snake charmers constantly from the hotel. The rooftop is great to sit in the sun and have tea. Easy to walk to most of the sights. The central location is handy but comes with the downsides. I woke up early before dawn and leaving the hotel for a walk felt unsafe. I saw an asian girl standing outside waiting for her taxi scared stiff. If your not alone I think its much better."

"Grand Plaza gave me a lovely big quiet room overlooking the pool with sunny balcony both am. and pm. room 526. Spacious and well appointed with excellent power shower you could sit under. Only niggles were that the pillows were extremely bulky and laundry cost me nearly £40!!"
