"My husband and I only stayed for one night while visiting Lake Como in late October. This is low season so some businesses are already closed for the season. The property is about a 20 minute walk from the ferry stop, and it’s all uphill. However, once you get there they do give you a short cut, but it’s still quite a walk and mostly stairs. "The room was clean and spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view of the Alps. On the ground floor, there is a small pizzeria with a very good pizza. There is no reception there so make sure you do your check-in beforehand in order to get a password for the key locker. We did not receive any links from hotels.com but the owner replied quickly on WhatsApp and sent us the code while we were standing in front of the entrance. "We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s centrally located just next to the entrance of the old town. There are only 6 bedrooms in the hotel so it feels super friendly. The staff was AMAZING. They were all so pleasant and helpful. They made our stay super comfortable. The breakfast is good and the aperitivo on the terrace was great. Fully recommended!"
