Beaches: Le Grau du Roi: The closest beach at 5km and where the Canal du Rhone meets the Mediterranean. Both sides of the canal feature sumptuous restaurants serving seafood straight from the fishing boats that line the canal every evening following the day at sea. It is a bustling holiday town and very popular at both day and night. E'spiguette is another unspoilt beach which 5km away from L Grau du Roi. Le Palvas is a beach between Le Grande Motte and Montpellier, you can hire sun beds here plus have lunch in one of the many restaurants along this beach.
Yaghting Paradise: Visit the spectacular Port Camargue with its magnificent marina with some of the finest boats on the Mediterranean. The port area has a lavish casino, beautiful hotels and superb sandy beaches. All within 10 minutes drive.
Other Activities: One of the most beautiful unspoilt spots in the South of France bordering Provence and the Camargue. This historical location is close to stunning Mediterranean beaches and resorts. Nearby is the Camargue National Park which is famous for its wildlife - white horses, black bulls and pink flamingos. Within an easy drive there is access to Roman Amphitheatres at Arles and Nîmes and further away are the Ardeche Gorges.
