"Best place to stay on the island!"

"From the moment I reserved a cabin, Ximena began communication with me, making sure I had links to complete entry paperwork for Easter Island and even arranging round-trip airport transfer for me (extra fee). This place was IMMACULATE. Ample towels, utensils and she even left a jug of water for me to use during my stay. Best part is there is a small market right next door open pretty late which came in super handy. Pillows a little soft for my liking but that's just a preference. Be warned: roosters and dogs make noise all night on Easter Island so bring your earplugs, but otherwise its pretty quiet. The Wifi is also pretty good & extends to the courtyard. Also, it is at least 15-minute walk into the center of town or waterfront. She was gracious enough to give me a late checkout & coordinated a taxi for me because she couldn't drop me off herself. She even came to the airport to wish me safe travels! I had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this cabin."

"Odette is the hostess/manager every hotel should have! She made us feel at home and was tireless on making sure we were having a great time and going way beyond her duties - she was lovely, caring and an impressive professional running the sweetest and most charming hotel in Easter Island. Her knowledge of the island and well connectedness got us the best deals for tours and rentals. The place itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable and immaculately clean - the room service lady made sure our room was always clean and the beds were so well made that it felt like fresh sheets everyday. It felt and smelled clean throughout the entire place - I could actually see my reflection on the floor! Breakfast was always delicious and with high-quality products on offer. Yummy every single time! The only drawback I can think of is the location as it’s a little bit far from town but I saw it as a positive as the only thing we heard were crickets at night and birds in the morning! I understand this reads too positive but in true honesty, 5 stars ( and I’m very picky)!"

"The staff at Tupa hotel is very helpful and speak excellent English. This is not an island where you find luxury hotels. The facilities are well-worn and basic. Given you accept that, you would do well to book Tupa hotel for the kindness and service. Bed was comfortable. Storage plentiful. Location convenient and they were wonderful about picking me up at the airport and taking me back. On time and efficient. I had an ocean-side room with a sliding door that opened on a mini-patio. One thing you should know is that the cleaning person always left the sliding door open to air out the room. This helps prevent mildew in this tropical climate. So don't leave valuables lying around. This wasn't an issue for me since I don't travel with any valuables other than my passport and money, which I keep with me at all times. One thing I wish I knew before I went was that they can book you tours at the hotel. I booked separately and had an awful experience on the tours. Check with them about tours when you reach out to book. A beautiful island that is still rustic."

"Amazing place is owned by local friendly family. 5 minutes walk to best sunset spot on the island. Good restaurants nearby. Place is nice and clean. Full kitchen so you can cook if you want. There is no A/C in the room (but at the night it's pretty chill), and no breakfast/dining option on the property (in case you expect it)."

"Great location. The hotel is nondescript and has no signage indicating its presence. Very good breakfast. You’ll hear lots of bird sounds there including roosters that start their cries very early in the morning. There are other residences around the hotel, so you’ll hear their sounds as well, including their late-night music and banter. "
