"Staff and restaurant was great, hotel itself was fine. Not much around the area, we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel...

"Having planned a day of retail therapy in Lorca and Murcia, we decided to treat ourselves to a night away from decorating our home in Mojacar (98 wooden shutters to paint....***!). From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Steve and Deborah provided a welcoming drink followed by a delicious evening meal. We retired to a comfortable room and woke refreshed. "The apartments are located in more of a residential area and are remote from the town of Aguilas itself. There is a regular shuttle service. The complex looks well maintained, it has a nice big pool area but here and there has broken tiles and looks a bit shabby. The apartment was basic but very comfortable and suited our requirements. It had the basic kitchen bits and pieces. Seemed good value for money."

"I liked it was very clean. I hated the toiletries were packets. They had A/C but the heating didn't work. They have no staff to man the Hostel, so you do it through the bar/restaurant downstairs. The guys were nice were but there were a ton of people having a party outside and the restaurant was super full. They're understaffed and I had to fight to get the bartenders' attention to check in, then he went to get someone who gave me a key and waved me away. I had to return to asked for the wifi....
