"Loved this backpackers! Super cool rooms, and the view is excellent looking straight at the Arenal volcano! Awesome pool and bar right on property and downtown is so walkable from the front of the property! "

"We had a wonderful time. Hikda and Dani were ex eptionally gracious and accommodating, even when we misplaced our keys! I stay in many differnet types of lodging in Costa Rica, amd I bring tourism clients, and this one is now high on my list of places I must return. "

"Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend."

"Great hostel in the heart of La Fortuna, situated 40 metres from Selina Hostel and 2 minutes from the bus terminal, main plaza and supermarkets. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the entire ambience of the place is calming and cozy. WiFi was great too. Note though that the 9 bed dorm consists of triple bunks."

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"This was a cozy cabin located in a very cute property. We loved taking our breakfast in the porch to watch the ducks and fish. We had a really lovely stay!! I want to highlight some things that I do wish we had known in advance to feel more prepared though, as the cabin was more rustic than what the listing portrayed. There were only two of us, but it’s worth noting that the sofa bed was in the front living room area, and the AC was located in the bedroom and worked best with that door closed....

"We really enjoyed the view of the volcano from our room. Both hot springs areas were amazing and the staff were so friendly. They even put on our football game from back home when we asked. The food was pretty good, especially the sushi! They made our honeymoon a special experience. "

"The staff in particular was great and made the experience all the more memorable!!!! Special thanks to Byron and Brayan, our servers at the restaurants who were not only extremely knowledgeable about everything Costa Rica but also provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to accommodate every request. Definitely a 6 out of 5 stars for the property and staff. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Poas Volcano Lodge. We went in the off season and there was only a few other guests on the property so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The trails around the property are expansive and lots of fun to explore for a fun afternoon walk/hike. The food at the restaurant was nice and the service was good. Having a glass of scotch and some Costa Rican dark chocolate with a good book in front of the wood burning stove and listening to the rain patter on the tin roof before dinners was a treat as well. Location was convenient to some great local places to see and visit. Staff was so helpful to help us book our tickets to the Poas Volcano National Park. I'd go back for sure!"

"Kisha & Roy are extremely helpful. Thank them for their help. Hey recommended good restaurants . Around corner is laundry run by Maria. Charges by kilo and does great job. The La Fortuna Lodge beds are very comfortable! A/C blows cold,view of Mt. Arenal beautiful from room #28. Thanks to all!!!"
