"I thought the capsule room idea was clever for a few nights and it is definitely a fun novelty versus a traditional shared dormitory bunk bed situation. The problem here is with the cleanliness. The capsule itself was disgusting. There was gum stuck to the side, smears on the walls and mirror and so much dirt and debris in the door’s sliding mechanism that it was clear they were not cleaned for a very long time. "The Parador in Nerja is one of our favourite places in Spain. We have stayed there twice and we always visit either for a drink or a meal even when we are not staying there. Everything is perfect. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the garden, sea and mountains is magical. It is so relaxing listening to the sound of the sea and taking in the scenery. We will return before the two year closure in October 2025. Thank you for a brilliant time."

"Very nice hotel. Right in the middle of everything. Difficult to get to with a car, but that's true for any hotel in the area. But they have a parking garage, at cost. A ground level room was all we could get because we booked late and it was a busy weekend, so it was a bit dark. But if you are in the city you don't spendmuch time in the room anyways. "

"Absolutely loved the room. Very comfortable, nice surprise of a small fridge and a safe. Small disappointment there was no in room coffee/tea machine. Also no English language options at all on tv even for Paramount or American made movies. Reception and gastropub bar staff were friendly and helpful. "
