"A nice hotel with a good location in central area of Jönköping. Room spacious with large separate beds joined into a double bed. Very comfortable. All the things you need like hairdryer, iron and ironboard were in the room as well as a well equipped minibar. Cleaning ok but staff could have been more thorough. Walk in, the "shower" is a slight dent in the floor with a partial divider pushing into your leg if you use the toilet. The door howls like a wounded animal when you try to open it or close it. The building has paint coming off it, the entryway lights are physically filthy, covered with cobwebs and a strange yellow stain. 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper in toilet and nothing else. Though...

No satellite TV it often lost connection, maybe due to WiFi connection so it meant limited access to English channels other than Sky news....

"Our visit blessed us with amazing weather as a beautiful back drop to this gorgeous place. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so tasty and had a so many choices. The only thing I would not give 5 stars was the service at supper. The food was delish but we were shocked as the the lack of attention and help guiding us through the menu or suggestion local options. Perhaps it was the Swedish to be standoffish. "

"If you're looking for a quiet stay in beautiful surroundings this is the place for you. We loved the location and the newly built sauna. The main house is a little dated but still comfortable and cozy. The house closer to the lake housing a cozy lounge room and sauna is absolutely lovely and the outdoor shower a real treat.
