"The house was very clean. It was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a quiet time within easy driving distance to bar harbor, Acadia, Schoodic. At 6’1”he felt a little tight in the shower. Just fyi. It’s a cute little house with a great porch to sit and view the ever changing weather and beauty of nature. So thankful for our time here. Gorgeous views."

"The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again."

"The property is stunning. The ocean is literally footsteps from the property. The cabin had everything we needed and extra. It was nice sitting on the screened in porch while it was raining with a good book and enjoying a lunch on the picnic table out back. Both have a beautiful view. My soul feels lifted and lighter with this stay. The host is very kind and generous and is just a text or phone call away. Its hard to put into words how lovely the home is. I would highly recommend this property...

"We loved the property. The place was beautiful and very clean. We arrived late at night but still found the place easily. The neighbors were all very friendly including their dog brownie! Rays meats was one of our favorite local spots. Will definitely come back again."

"We had a great stay in Corea. The cottage was very clean and had lots of extra little touches including a well-stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet area about 30-60 minutes from more touristy activities. Enjoyed exploring Schoodic Island, along with trips into MDI/Acadia. Highly recommend."

"Absolutely stunning view. Hosts Jay and Jo were amazing and gave us suggestions for food and scenic adventures. Our stay was peaceful and adventurous with all the walking paths we were surrounded with. I even saw a white deer (rare find). We have stayed at many places over the years and this has been our favorite."

"Our stay at Back of the Moon was fabulous. The view of the lake is amazing from the deck, and the buzzing of the hummingbirds and the bald eagles we saw just added to the experience. Everyone enjoyed going out in the kayaks, and the camp fire at night was relaxing. The house itself is very spacious and clean, and is very well stocked for anything you may need. The just , Sharon was a delight as well. Great place to bring the family, and Acadia NP is only an hour away! "
