"I stay there weekly for work. We even had a moose on the property for three weeks. I was fortunate enough to see it in person as I've never seen one before up close. Pretty cool"

"We had a lovely time at the cottage. The air was great, the drinking water excellent, the stars and the moon were enchanting, as were sunrise and the sunset. We patronized the local businesses and found all the people extremely friendly. Because of our age limitations we were unable to use the canoe, kayak or pedal boat. We were disappointed that we found the lake not good for swimming even at Centennial Park. Right in the middle of our stay there was a cold spell with the temperature going down to 5 degrees and we were freezing. We were able to contact Andrey and he came within a couple of hours, fixed the problem and brought a wonderful loaf of bread which his wife had just made. All was well until Wednesday before our departure when it was time to take our refuse to the dump. We left the cottage around 10 am, found the gate open with no one in sight. Soon a truck drove in with two men, and they were quite upset that we had 'trespassed'. When told why we were there, they informed us that the dump only opened at noon and closed at 4. We were also informed that the black garbage bags that were supplied were not acceptable, and that we would have to go to Yarker and buy Municipal bags at $3. each, and that we had to transfer our refuse into them and then return to the dump at noon. We were also told that it was the owner's responsibility to do this and that were indeed, as tourists, trespassing. HOWEVER, all in all we had a good time and very much enjoyed our stay."

"From our arrival and seeing Bill unloading wood for our stay and showing us around the property, and the things we will need to know to the beautiful rustic interior of the cottage and the view of the lake, with all the wild life, this was absolutely a amazing 9 days for us and our dogs. There was everything you would need in the cottage and the covered patio was a bonus especially when we had a couple days of rain, we could still sit outside. The view of the lake from the cottage is breathe taking with all the windows and the outdoor shower is unique and i even took a picture while showering of the lakeview lol. We saw lots of geese, ducks, a deer, even a bald Eagle with lots of dragonflies and hummingbirds around. The sandy beach was nice for our three dogs two who are 12 and need a gentle entry, it was shallow enough they could go in and get out deeper with ease. They loved playing fetch for hours in the water. There was many water toys for us and when our daughter and her boyfriend did a surprise visit for a day they got to use the kayaks and peddle boat . I hope we will be able to return again next Sept and continue for many years to come as our end of summer cottage vacation "
