"Beautiful hotel and surrounding area. Lobby was gorgeous with a fireplace and comfy chairs and couches for relaxing. The pool and hot tubs are heated and we were able to use in the evening even though the outside temp was 46 degrees. Fire pits near the pool were nice. The room was gorgeous with cathedral ceilings, view of the mountain and balcony. The price of the food and drinks was outrageous though and disappointing. "My husband and I along with our kids and some friends had a wonderful time staying at this villa for a week. Lots of things to do on the Trapp Family property as well as in Stowe. Also lovely to relax and enjoy a mug of coffee with a wood fire going in the fireplace of the living room. We will definitely be staying again in the future. Great host!"

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
