"This property is a peaceful retreat for us when visiting family - we call it the overflow cottage - but it is so tastefully appointed, every little details, that is a soooo relaing when we get "home" in the evening. There are so many nice details, it is a wonder. We love the remoteness of the off-seasn boatyard. I suspect in summer that will be busier, but the access to the water there is a bonus. We love it here and will return next year."

"This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...

"We loved our stay and the hosts Joanne and David are very kind and accommodating. The house was well laid out and nicely decorated. The setting was just gorgeous. There was lots of room for our dogs to run around. The beach access was on site and the beach walks and sunsets were breathtaking. We will definitely be back!"

"What an amazing little place this was! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem. Right on the water, we enjoyed early morning coffee watching the fish jump and the birds float along the water. We slept up in the loft and the view out the window at sunrise was just breathtaking. "Great place, very simple and well stocked for any needs. Lots of free streaming channels. Fans, AC and heat available to make yourself comfortable. By no means a concern with the stay itself but if you stay here i would recommend personal means of transportation. "

"Beautiful cottage, very clean and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet! Weather wasn't the best for sitting outside to enjoy nature, but it was beautiful nonetheless. Bonnie is an excellent host! We definitely will return!"
