"Fantastic view, cant say enough about sunrise and sunset. Nice away from it all spot close enough to places to go fora really good balance. The road in isa back road on the cape going any faster than 5mph will rattle you around but totally worth the slow roll in. "

"We had an awesome time at the cottage. It’s a quick walk to the neighborhood beach that is very clean. Beautiful area and the neighbors always smiled and waved as we went by. The house was fully equipped and had everything we needed and more and was clean. We only had to buy food- all soaps and supplies were provided which was nice. The owners Matt and Carly were very responsive and friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food (Turk’s is a must!) and activities. "

"This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...

"What an amazing little place this was! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem. Right on the water, we enjoyed early morning coffee watching the fish jump and the birds float along the water. We slept up in the loft and the view out the window at sunrise was just breathtaking. "This is the perfect place for a quiet get away if you don’t mind driving everywhere. It’s tucked away and peaceful. The cabin itself is pleasant. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and the staircase leading there is VERY narrow and would be inaccessible to many with limited mobility. Also, it would be difficult for people of larger builds carrying small children. The beach is rocky, but that’s related to where it is on the cape. Not an ideal spot for infants and toddlers. "I was travelling with my 3 sisters from Canada heading towards Martha's Vineyard for a sister's reunion. We all appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail. The space was well appointed. The fridge ice maker did not work well so having some ice cube trays would have been helpful. I highly recommend The Islander."
