"I stayed for 1-2 night stays on 3 consecutive weeks for business, staying in a different suite on each occasion. The rooms are really comfortable and ideal for a self-catering stay with quick meals (microwave etc). The rooms also have a minibar and snack selection with price list attached which whilst I didn’t use, was a very thoughtful addition. I found plenty to watch on the telly though couldn’t the regular channels. The shower was great and much appreciated after long days, as were the beds....

"The house is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. The hosts are lovely, and they went out of their way to help with transportation and convenience without being at all intrusive. He went out of his way to give us a ride when we were walking to the local pub for dinner in a heavy rain, which was much appreciated. They found the perfect niche between letting us find our way on our own and making life a little easier. "

"Great location in the village. 1 small block away from fantastic pub with attached restaurant and outdoor seating with parking for both. One block from river. Another block added from the pub gets you to the convenience/grocery store. Another block along the river gets you to the manor house and gardens. Lovely room at the lodge, nice breakfast delivered in the mornings. Great staff, internet in the room. Parking lot within grounds. Local taxis available. Bolt available to the property...

"The night we endured was terrible, it smelt of faeces all night, loads of people coming in and out shouting, it sounded like someone tried getting in our door around midnight, the shower was contaminated, I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t a case of legionella within the water, the bed was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel secure, the sink had no plug, and Unknown marks left on walls, 1/10 would not recommend "
