"The setup is very good; the surrounding area, beaches, and Hermit's Castle are why we booked here for two nights. Unfortunately, the builders opposite decided to start work with a digger and heavy roller before 8 a.m., so our stay wasn't exactly peaceful. This was not the owner's fault, I should add. The pod was large and comfortable, but it really needs Starlink, as we couldn't use the internet on our phones. Some might find this acceptable, but others might not. Not being able to watch TV...

"We had a nice stay in the pods, you are really thrown into nature. The check-in is through a keybox so you can arrive when you want. There was a good detailed explenation of the surroundings."

"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."

"Ons verblijf was super. Verblijf is prachtig gelegen aan het water. Hebben verschillende uitstapjes/wandelingen gemaakt in de nabije omgeving (Poolewe en Grailoch). In het kleine verblijf was alles aanwezig van afwasmachine tot wasmachine, kookgerei etc. Teleurstellend was de communicatie, die was er helemaal niet. We hebben een paar dagen van te voren via de site aangegeven wanneer onze aankomst zou zijn. Helaas is daar geen antwoord op gekomen. Ook gebeld maar kregen een ingesproken bericht....

"Cozy, extremely well designed and efficient, spectacular views in a quiet and private and quaint location. 10 min drive back “The Street” where the sunsets are magical looking across the water to Isle of Skye.
