Situated a little more than an hour from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we were able to visit both cities and retreat to the quiet castle at night. The resident Hemingway cat that oversaw the property was very affectionate. Bring cat treats! We will stay again. Thank you Marcus."

"From check-in through check-out, everything was seamless. Very comfortable beds and the room was very clean. Great breakfast including hot eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, biscuits, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, etc. During check-in, Kelly was very friendly and engaging and offered good advice on local restaurants. Lannette took care of the breakfast items and was also very friendly and engaging. Great customer service! I would strongly recommend."
