Viento del Rio - Abiquiu Casita W/Private Hot Tub

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (41)
"The casita was perfect for 2 couples with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The decor was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The area was peaceful and picturesque with the Chama River and mountains. Beautiful sunsets. We were able to visit Christ in the Desert Monastery, Ghost Ranch, Plaza Blanca, Puye cliff dwellings, Los Alamos and Santa Fe. Our favorite was Christ in the Desert Monastery with the Gregorian chant mass. We...

Canyon Inn - Downtown Los Alamos

2.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. Probably worth...

Barranca Plaza Casita - Village life in its old days Best

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (130)
"This casita is tucked back in the mountains with beautiful mountain views in every direction. Mrs.Martinez showed us the casita and answered any questions we had. It snowed and Floyd was so kind to bring wood and fire starting materials so we could build a fire in the atove the next morning. It was cozuu ya sitting by the stove watching the fire through the glass door of the stove. Phone service is sketchy, but the TV worked great. We watched Netflix some. The bed was very comfortable and the...

Spectacular Ranch Overlooking the Chama River at the Heart of Abiquiu

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (71)
"Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. We also enjoyed some quiet days doing art projects and birding around the house. A highlight was heading out to the road late one night to photograph the incredible night...
