"We were very impressed with the Lion Hotel in Criccieth. It is in a great position with plenty of parking. It is a traditional character hotel, clean, well maintained and decorated with lovely staff. It was also great value, would recommend as a base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula."

"One night stay when touring North Wales in winter. Ample on-site parking. Quiet warm room which appeared spotlessly clean and bed was comfortable. Stayed is single room which was a bit small, in that for example there was little space for luggage, but this was no problem for one night. Breakfast was superb with a great choice of items. Would definitely stay again."

"We were celebrating my 60th birthday with family and friends. We had a few things planned around Abersoch and the location was perfect right in the centre and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We really just wanted to eat and drink and celebrate together in the house and it was a perfect space to do this. The bedrooms were all a great size. Lovely clean comfy beds and plenty of room everywhere. We had 3 Labradors with us and so needed space and it really was a perfect home for the weekend. We hope to book again in the future. "Absolutely beautiful cottage! Peaceful and cosy, with stunning views. The cottage host Gary lives on the grounds but you would never know anyone was there, it felt lovely and private, no noise at all apart from the birds singing in the large garden space which was so nice to walk around with my coffe in the morning. The cottage was spottless and had everything we needed, we will definitly be booking with Gary in the future. . "

"This was our 3rd stay at the property, we wanted to suprise the kids by having a Christmas with our extended family. The house was perfect as usual, it was fully decoratedfor Christmas and included a Christmas tree, the little ones thought it was magical and could believe Santa knew where we were. House was clean and fully equipped with all the utensils and bits and bobs you would possibly need to make a big family dinner and have a comfortable stay, making it easy to spend time together as a group and also have a little alone time when needed. We went on lots of little walks around the town, the weather was misty but that didn't stop some of our party going in to the sea for a swim and wandering around taking in the views. We loved our special Christmas trip this year as we normally do an early year visit to the house and the kids were very sad when we didn't go earlier in the year. We love coming to this house, it's warm and cosy and comfortable, everything you need and in a perfect location, "

It is just perfect and suits all our family needs such as the open plan kitchen/ tv area or separate front living room with tv. It is also well heated during those cold spells.
