"The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

"Great location right in town and walkable to everything. So close to west sands beach where in the summer you can view both sunrise (if you are prepared to rise at 3am) and sunset just a few hours later! The house was so comfortable and clean and well equipped and lots of space to relax. And a contained back garden and conservatory to boot. Beautifully old property with a long history. We came for my sons graduation from St Andrews. We are sorry to leave this magical place but we will be back....

"Directions to the property could have been clearer but we eventually found it as the village is very small. There is nowhere in the village for provisions so bring what you need with you. "Our room was ready on arrival (before the 2.30 check-in time too). We upgraded to a Quay View Room which was great. Really big room and a good view. Small fridge was handy. We were given complimentary drinks vouchers when we checked-in as a celebration for my birthday. This was really appreciated. We never used the spa at all and only had drinks in the bar area - no meals at all. Parking was easy and cost £6.50 per night. "Lovely apartment in good location close to attractions, shops & restaurants, studio apt was spotless, comfortable, great bed, shower powerful, nespresso coffee machine, big TV, iron & board and safe, everything you could need, would recommend for a stay in Dundee"
