"Comfortable rooms. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not awful. The staff was friendly and polite. The food in their dinner restaurant was very good. I had the goat pie and it was delicious. Breakfast was very good and the wait staff was super helpful. Would absolutely stay again. "

"This would be our second visit to the station. This time we opted for a suite. The hotel itself is stunning , quiet , beautifully decorated, and relaxing. Our suite was spacious and well decorated. The highlight of the stay, apart from the amazing food, is the staff. The three team members that looked after us were kind, polite and attentive. "Great location with great staff. Food very good but pricey. No elevators which is not ideal when you’re on the 4th floor with a big bag. Rooms were freezing cold when we got there although they did warm up eventually. Could only stand up on one side of the room due to the ceiling slope. Overall a good stay with a few surprises. "

"Lilyfield was amazing. Everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Views from the cottage are breath taking. Enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air hearing the sheep in the fields. Claire was a most gracious host and assured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying if you are in the area."

"The peace & quiet here was amazing! Other guests were respectful & the only noise in the morning was the ducks looking for food. Our lodge was dated but comfortable. There were a few minor issues but nothing that affected our stay. So in summary the accommodation is not luxurious but the location & setting are wonderful if it’s a quiet break you are looking for.
