"Lovely retreat, be aware it is miles down a dusty track which can be difficult to find at first. Facilities are lovely and was not crowded when we went in July. "

"Beautiful place to stay when exploring Portugal. Sometimes it’s best to get off the beaten path. Accommodations were great and the hosts made the stay pleasant. Breakfast was also very nice. Would stay again. "

"We loved this little hotel. It’s hidden away but once inside it is neat and tidy with a nice pool out the back. The owners were lovely and breakfast was included with delicious homemade cake and fresh juice. It’s a good stop over on the way to or from Lisbon. "

"Overall it was a good one-night stay including some essential gluten-free items for breakfast - no GF bread but we didn't expect that and had brought our own. Our room had the promised sea view, unfortunately the foreground was an abandoned building full of garbage - that is outside the hotel's control of course. "Property was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very clean and enough room for my wife and I with our adult son. Although it could accomodate up to 5 guests, I would not recommend it. Quiet, little town with a couple of good restaurants and cafes. Short and easy 15 min drive to Vila Nova de Milfontes or Porto Covo with amazing beaches.
