"This is a beautiful Tuscany experience. Very small property perched on a hill, very well appointed and large rooms, gorgeous views, beautiful surrounding vineyards for endless walking, spectacular pool, ultra-foodie restaurant. One warning, do not recommend this if anyone in the party gets carsick. It is far off the beaten track, with lots of curvy roads, and a considerable amount of gravel roads."

"Spacious and easy walk to the center, restaurant.and groceries nearby. Nice rustic feel. Homey. Stayed here 5 nights. The town itself has some nice restaurants and good amenities but pretty small- this location, however, makes for a great base for exploring the area."

"Located in old town this is a great place to stay with a really great view of the Tuscan hills. Highly rated restaurant just below this B&B. The owner Mario is very knowledgeable of the area and is very helpful and overall great guy. He also provides eco tours that are really a remarkable experience."

Very clean, beautiful apartment

"This is a beautiful apartment on the edge of a small town called Castelnuovo dell’Abate. It's not in Montalcino, but a short drive to it. We stayed here because we were visiting a few wineries close by. When staying in a small Tuscan town, it's best to look for a place like this that's right on the edge. You don't want to (and sometimes can't!) drive into the old part of the towns. We were able to park along the street about 100 yards away. The walk was steeply uphill, but not long at all. The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious, very comfortable for 2-3 people. It was well laid out and provided all the amenities we needed. The bed in the main room is ok. The frame is a bit springy and the mattress a bit soft. I like a firm to medium-firm mattress with a lot of support. This one was reasonably comfortable, but not super high end like a hotel. The town itself is peaceful and quiet, but we stayed on a Friday night and there was a party happening down the street. The music was very loud between 11pm-1:30am, which was terrible. But it was probably a one-time thing. The hosts were very apologetic and promised to address the noise complaint with the perpetrators. The hosts were very good to work with."

"Quaint apartment, with enough amenities for a great six day stay! The parking is a little tough, but the location and views are fabulous. The pellet stove needs to have directions for the renter when it is cooler weather. I would definitely say again. Francesco was great and helped me with a lot of questions!:)"
