"Loved our little one night trip last night. Perfect stopping off point to visit Ludlow as it was only 30 minutes away today. The staff were all so lovely, chatty and accommodating and the food was exceptional. The room had everything we needed and we loved being able to sit and drink by the log burner before our delicious food and local real ale. We will be back so that we can enjoy the countryside in better weather. The choice of food was amazing and the quality and quantity impressive....

"Great rooms and not above the pub they are 100m away in the courtyard so no noise from the pub which was good Pub was lovely and great breakfast room was cold when we got there but soon warmed up with the heating on "

"Beautiful old pub. Downstairs absolutely amazing, rooms need some attention, especially bathroom. We had a twin room and found the beds a bit small. But the staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Short walk to centre of town and directly opposite the beautiful abbey."

"We stayed overnight with friends in another room. Enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which was nice. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. Bar closed at 10pm although signage indicated it would be open till 11 it wasn’t a massive issue but why put a sign up if it’s not the case."
