A great choice of accommodation when visiting Amsterdam."

"This was a nightmare from start to finish. The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. When we arrived there was dirty underwear, dirty bedding, full garbage bins, a huge leak in the living room, 0 toilet paper, no shampoo, soap or coffee. They promised to get it cleaned which they did while we were out at dinner but the...

"A lovely little studio space right on the street by a canal. (The door opens right onto the sidewalk if you’re not used to that) Awesome location for walking everywhere. Unless you’re used to the chaos of tiny roads with bikes, cars, and pedestrians going in every direction don’t even consider a car … The bathroom area is a tight space but great to have laundry. It is right on the street so if sleep is an issue bring a mask and ear plugs. Overall a good space for access to the city. "

"We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. "

"What a fantastic property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘De Duif’, a great home, well equipped and in the midst of amazing nature! We loved travelling up the canal and to the lake in the rowing boat and also enjoyed day trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht! We would love to come back! "I stayed in Amsterdam for a few days, and this was the perfect spot to explore the city! We were within walking distance of so many sites, on a beautiful street along the canal, and had a great amount of space to spread out in the apartment. Would definitely recommend! "

"Gute Zentrale Lage, dicht am Meer, alles fussläufig erreichbar. (Bahn, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc…) Wohnung selbst… alles vorhanden zum Überleben. Das Einzige was etwas merkwürdig war, war die Müllentsorgung."
