"I've rarely bothered to leave reviews of hotels, but my experience here left me quite furious. I stayed in the hotel in October, so not so hot outside. However it was VERY hot in my room, at one point it was 27c. Clearly the Air Con wasn't functioning so I asked reception. They sent a technician who proceeded to LIE about the situation saying it would take time to cool down. Eventually they admitted that they had turned off the Air Con for the whole hotel to save money and gave me a cooling...

"Room was fairly large though not in a very central location. A bit of a walk into main area near Drum Tower. Comfort of room was pretty good though not much of a view from my hotel room. If you are after something in a more central location then there are plenty of other options available closer to the central city area. "In general good stay, the hotel is being recently renewed, but still some old furniture. The location is a bit far from city center and about 1.5 km to the nearest subway entrance. Staff is very friendly but if you don´t speak Chinese you must be patient (they will try with translator apps on the phone) In gerneral very good quality/price relation."

"The hotel staff was very accommodating in spite of our language barrier. The taxi service from the hotel to our tour location was much higher than when we flagged down our own taxi back to hotel property. Did not care for food at hotel but the presentation was nice. Carpet need to be replaced."
