"The Nelson is a great place to stay. Right in the middle of the main strip close to beaches ports and all the amenities and restaurants. The hotel it self is extremely well appointed and the staff are credit to the management. I highly recommend this hotel for any one staying in Nelson bay"

" The hotel lobby and ground floor in general is very nice and appealing but when we headed up stairs the halls were quite old and just the opposite of the fresh and lovely smelling, modern lobby. We did enjoy the self check in and check out. I thought that was very smart and the machines were very easy to use. "Stayed for 2 nights in a Superior Spa Suite. Quick, easy and friendly check in. The Suite was a great size - really big living area and bathroom. Very comfy king size bed. Great location between Nelson and Shoal bay. Lots of free parking. Would definitely stay again. "
