"Quest is a large hotel above the shops below. It is kind of hard to find as you drive by. The staff was very nice at check in. This place is really modern/ new. Its basically a little apartment. The kitchen had all that you could need. Washer and dryer in the room was nice to have. Make sure to call ahead if you have a vehicle, we parked on the street. "Really enjoyed my stay here. Was surprised how nice the room and hotel was for the price, a great deal. Great art-deco vibes, comfortable and clean room, updated fixtures in the bathroom. Staff were helpful, included breakfast and coffee was delicious. Location is very much downtown, which includes the usual tradeoffs: some unhoused folks and party people, but easy access to transit, activities, museums, and great restaurants. The Dragons Restaurant right next door was fantastic!"

"The Wyndham Microtel was perfectly situated for our needs. It was close to the ferry (which we were taking the following morning) and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and stores. The amenities were fabulous, the room and hotel were clean, and we appreciated the spaciousness of the room. "

"Emergenct stop thanks to Air NZ cancelling the last flight of the day home. Perfectly situated for the stranded business traveller, not expensive and a good room (size, facilities and cleanliness) for my needs. New World opposite to buy the essential toothpaste and toothbrush at not-airport prices and only a few dollars uber back to the airport in the morning. Reception staff were wonderful. "
